National Adaptation Forum 2022

Baltimore | October 25-27, 2022

The National Adaptation Forum is the premier gathering of climate adaptation practitioners. Since the Forum is created by and for members of the adaptation community, the meeting focuses on issues of the day – both established and emerging. The Forum gathers the adaptation community to foster knowledge exchange, innovation, and mutual support for a better tomorrow. The National Adaptation Forum includes opportunities for professional development through formal training sessions, facilitated practitioner presentations, and informal knowledge sharing and networking all at a single venue. This event affords attendees the opportunity to learn more about how to make their work climate-informed, share what they have learned with others, and develop a stronger network. We invite you to join the convening of adaptation practitioners from around the country focused on moving beyond adaptation awareness and planning to adaptation action.

The Call for Proposals is now open!

The Program Committee invites you to submit a proposal to present at the 5th National Adaptation Forum. The Forum program emphasizes the implementation of climate adaptation measures and the sharing of lessons learned to improve practice. Presentations and sessions that connect science to management decisions and the implementation and evaluation of adaptation actions’ effectiveness are of high priority. We also strongly encourage proposals from federal partners, community members, students, and youth interested and engaged in climate adaptation.

Submission Deadline EXTENDED To: February 16, 2022 at 11:59pm Hawaiian-Aleutian Time
