Ropeless fishing gear opens 15,000 square miles of previously close fishing grounds for South Atlantic black sea bass fishermen

Looking to revive the pot fishery, fishermen self-funded a pilot study last year of ropeless gear, partnering with Sustainable Seas Technology, University of Georgia Marine Extension and GA Sea Grant for the project.
