Save the date: Monday, October 6th -- Coastal Research Highlights Forum

The Georgia Coastal Research Council is organizing a forum of recent and ongoing research projects concerning the Georgia coast. The goal of this event is to provide information about some of the interesting research taking place on our shores. Such projects are funded through Georgia Sea Grant, the Georgia Coastal Management Program, and the National Science Foundation (the Georgia Coastal Ecosystems Long Term Ecological Research Project), so we plan to hear from key managers and investigators with those programs. We will distribute more details (including the agenda) shortly. The agenda will also be available on our website, http://www.gcrc.uga.edu .

This half-day event will be on the morning of Monday, October 6th at the Jekyll Island Convention Center. We offer many thanks to the Jekyll Island Authority for sponsoring this free program.
